This course is for partners who are expecting a baby and wanting to plan for mental and relational wellness in advance. We will spend time learning about the neurobiological changes that occur during pregnancy (for both mom and dad), review communication styles, conflict resolution, individual triggers and coping skills, and discuss a plan for practical needs that will arise in the postpartum season that will have a direct impact on your mental health. After the session, I will send you a personalized ebook that summarizes our time together and presents a communication plan specific to your relationship needs and individual personality types.
$350 for 2 Hour Postpartum Booster Course + Personalized Relationship E-book
This course is for partners who are in the midst of the postpartum season and are having trouble connecting with one another while adjusting to the demands of parenthood. We will assess barriers to intimacy, discuss differences in personality, and create a plan for managing conflict and obstacles constructively during this time. During this course we will explore postpartum physical intimacy, baby-proof communication, individual triggers and coping skills. We will also come up with a do-able plan for each partner to experience autonomy and wellness during this season. After the session, you will receive a personalized ebook that summarizes our time together and presents a communication plan specific to your relationship needs and individual personality types.
$150/month for personal weekly mental wellness coaching through text and e-mail exchange
Sometimes it’s easier to type out your thoughts, struggles, and feelings during that middle of the night feeding. I want to overcome obstacles and provide a method through which I can engage personally with individuals who are looking for support and coaching so he or she can thrive emotionally during the postpartum season. This is not an appropriate service for individuals who have been diagnosed with a PMAD and who are not in treatment, it is a supplemental service that is solution-focused and will aim to overcome problems through solutions presented in email format. This client can expect to receive one to two emails a week and live text messaging as needed during the day. When it comes to problems involving lactation, sleep, medical issues, supplements and nutrition, I will refer you to a specialist I trust in your local area.

Home-based and Virtual Counseling Services (not available at this time)
Getting out of the house as a new parent is hard enough. For parents struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, the stress of leaving is often compounded. Let me come to you and provide counseling services. No need to shower, clean, or put on a show. Let me come sit with you in the messy season and help you discover your beauty and resilience that can often go unseen amidst the growing pains.
If desired, during my time with you, I will work with you to make subtle changes around your home that may expand your capacity to enjoy life and embrace the beauty of this season in new ways. Sometimes it just takes creative problem solving, nursery additions, adjusting some furniture, opening up spaces, and bringing in more light to enhance the energy of a home.
I am also happy to meet you at a local park to walk, or at a coffee shop. Sometimes getting out of the house and breathing some fresh air can be therapeutic in and of itself.
Office-based Counseling Services (not available at this time. Schedule a virtual appointment HERE)
Fresh air and other adults can bring all sorts of refreshment to the weary mama and daddy soul. Let me know if coming to me is a better fit for your needs at this time, and I will be at the office to offer a listening ear. **Please note that all first sessions occur in the office so that we can get to know one another.**
Babies are welcome to join for the first few sessions, though our work together may be compromised by the presence of toddlers or older children. I ask that after our second session you work to attain childcare during our sessions.

“Our work with Ashley and the personalized ebook she provided has tremendously impacted our spiritual, emotional, and mental perspective as we prepare for parenthood. Planning for postpartum wellness has given us an opportunity to find practical ways to maintain and strengthen our identities within our marriage and as individuals, leaving us feeling more confident and less fearful of all the changes that come throughout pregnancy and beyond. Our work with Ashley brought us a kind of comfort that we didn’t know could exist amongst the nerves that arise with first time parents.”

“When I started this journey I was frankly afraid and uncertain if I would make any progress. I honestly don’t know how I could have worked through some of these things without Ashley, and where I would have been had I not pursued virtual sessions.”
